DAY 1 - PHOTOGRAPHY BASICS

Walk away with a fundamental understanding of how to use your DSLR or digital camera! This crash course event will go over common questions and interests for creatives looking to start photography. This is an introductory course for beginners who are interested in picking up that camera that’s been sitting on the desk since forever! Everyone else is still welcome to attend, of course.

This course goes from 7-8pm. Having a camera isn’t required, but bringing one will help you to follow along. Don’t forget to charge your batteries and bring an SD card!

DAY 2 - PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY

Learn how to create your perfect image by understanding what factors go into a quality portrait including: settings, lens choice, lighting, & more. The most universal genre of photography, this lesson can apply to senior portraits, family portraits, headshots, fashion, business, & so much more.

This course goes from 7-8pm. Having a camera isn’t required, but bringing one will help you to follow along. Don’t forget to charge your batteries and bring an SD card!

DAY 3 - CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY

This is an intermediate course for photographers who understand the basics and are interested in photographing concerts. You know your camera settings, you’ve taken photos before, but you haven’t tried live shows yet or have only done some. The best thing you can do before arriving to a venue is understanding what you’re getting yourself into, so in this class you will learn best practices for shooting in the pit and how to be prepared for whatever is thrown at you!

This course goes from 7-8pm. Having a camera isn’t required, but bringing one will help you to follow along. Don’t forget to charge your batteries and bring an SD card!
